The Samphire range of cruising yachts was designed by David Cannell and built by North Sea Craft in the 1970s and 80s.

The range included the Samphire 23, Samphire 26 and Samphire 29. Samphires
are noted for their seaworthiness, traditional looks and solid 'little
ship' feel. They feature shoal draft long keels, masthead
Bermudan rigs, inboard engines, heavy lay-ups, 'She-dek' imitation
teak decks, balsa cored decks, and a foam cored beam to support
the mast.This
website is being developed by a small
group of Samphire owners to share knowledge and promote interest in
these craft. We hope to formally set up a Samphire Owners'
Association shortly, and would be pleased to hear from other Samphire
owners, or anyone else who has knowledge of or interest in these
boats.
